Wedding LOVE...Flower Recon!

Happy Monday friends!

I trust you all had a fabulous weekend and did all the things (or all the nothing) that you had in mind. Ours was filled with good food, greats friends...{and a little bit of work}. This year we are lucky enough to have a wedding in the family (my oldest, younger brother is marrying his gorgeous fiancĂ© in May) and we are excited to be able to lend a hand in the planning.

So, on Sunday we decided to head to the Eagle Farm Markets (if you haven't already been I highly recommend them!) and look at all their gorgeous flower stalls for some inspiration for the bouquets and table centrepieces (and to get a passionfruit, white chocolate ganache lamington!). While Mum, the bride to be and I took our time admiring all the beautiful blooms the boys amused themselves with the food and drink stalls; everyone was happy!

While it is still too hot in the southern hemisphere for all the beautiful peonies, ranunculus and tulips to be blooming; the bride to be fell in love with the cream and yellow lisianthuses. We can definitely see some beautiful bouquets containing this gorgeous flower!

With the work out of the way it was time to get down to business...
We shared this amazing Hungarian Langos (don't ask what's in it just enjoy it!) for our savoury course keeping room for our dessert that I had been raving about all morning.
To my great sadness my favourite cake stall had not returned from their christmas break yet (so sadly no passionfruit, white chocolate ganache lamington) but not all was lost because we found these beautiful belgian waffles to fill the sugary void.

We might just have to venture back next Sunday in the hopes that they will be there. Fingers crossed, I'll keep you posted!

Thea xx
